Just because it's modern doesn't mean whoever made the model doesn't suck.
For what it's worth, 3D modeling is crazy difficult.

I know, I've done some of it myself.
But I've seen 3d modeling in other Japanese
PVs, and it's about the same quality (one
off the top of my head is in Gackt's Tsuki no Uta
which is at least 5 years old and looks just like this
one). It's just weird because of how
big Japan is in the video game industry, and how
big these pop acts are, and yet they can't
get a decent modeler.
I guess the market
doesn't mind
it too much
if at
all.
