Yes they are. $29.99. Not full price, but still more expensive.

If this is indeed the cover for the US version, I love it.

The font does not suit the game AT ALL.

Bold and black, uh-uh.
Does it make you happy you're so strange?

While I 100% agree with you, for some reason, to me, it just works. What is funny is that the US cover looks VERY Japanese, with how minimalist it is. Usually the Japanese cover would look like that, and then they would have to "excite" it up for the US release.

And Finch, how much press did Riviera get? If it didn't get a lot, would it be worth talking about in the mag?

Like, none. It was here and gone. As possibly one of the last GBA greats, it's worth talking about.
Though they're not Japanese, Rebelstar: Tactical Command, Scurge, and Sigma Star Saga deserve the same recognition.

Could you do up something on Riviera within, say, the next two weeks or so?

What if we make it a pseudo-review... sort of like, "A lot of people probably won't know about this game and play it, but here is why you should."

Hey Finchie... this looks like a sequel or something to your Riviera game.

;_; No one cared on TNL. Maybe i should dig it up.

It's not a sequel, it's just a game from St!ng with a similar art style. It's more strategy oriented, maybe. It'd be great if Atlus brought it over. Riviera sold pretty well for the company, so here's hoping. I'm half-tempted to import it. If no announcement's made by March (the J release) i might just go ahead.

Maybe. I haven't picked it up yet. I'm currently POH.

You should buy Drill Dozer. It's my favoritist game on Gameboy Advance besides Super Mario Bros. and Balloon Fight, neither of which are real GBA games anyway.

Picked up Drill Dozer yesterday. So far I'm loving it - it really is a different and unusual platformer. And, you know, playing it, there's just something... I don't know, almost comforting about playing GBA games. This simple, familiar charm that has been lost with a lot of games and system.

So, Finchie, you being the GBA King, do you (or anybody else) have suggestions for must-own GBA games? Here's what I already have:

Made in Wario, Tactics Ogre, Drill Dozer, Harvest Moon: Another, King of Fighters 1, Puyo Pop, Phantasy Star Collection, Lady Sia, Konami Arcade Classics, Metroid Zero (awesome), Metroid Fusion, Pocky & Rocky & Becky (OMG sucks so much ass and ruined the best SNES game ever), and Sonic Advance 3.

I picked between Sonic 3 and 1, and from what I hear, I made the wrong choice. I've also been interested in Racing Gears Advance, because I hear it is awesome. What else?
