"GoMo relevant" titles being..

Sheng Zhimin's Bliss (China) "tells of one family's struggle amidst death, heartache, secrets and lies."

Takashi Miike's Big Bang Love, Juvenile A (Japan) enters an abstract and erotic world, pitting the blossoming romance between two hard-edged men against the violent backdrop of an aggressive prison environment.

More surely to come. Perhaps I'll actually get to see something at the festival this year.

QUOTE
KING AND THE CLOWN, Joon-ik Lee, South Korea
International premiere
A record-breaking, box-office sensation in Korea, KING AND THE CLOWN portrays an awkward love affair between the King, his concubine and a pair of court clowns. As two actors are imprisoned for satirizing the King, love blossoms, jealousies flare and murders are plotted in Joon-ik Lee's period comedy drama.

FAMILY TIES, Tae-Yong Kim, South Korea
International premiere
A woman is surprised by a visit from her long-lost brother and his new older bride. A headstrong daughter is told her mother is terminally ill. A young couple face problems in their relationship. Tae-Yong Kim's ensemble drama presents three seemingly unconnected stories each examining the complexities of family relationships.
