We are pleased to spread the word that EUREKA is part of Cinematheque Ontario's 2006 April line-up.

This film by Shinji Aoyama delighted Cannes' audiences in 2000, but makes it's way to Toronto in the coming weeks having never had North American distribution before.

Three lone survivors of a terrorist attack aboard a bus embark on a spiritual journey, rife with uncertain destinations as they work their way through tragedy into renewal. EUREKA is broken down into two equal parts that may help audiences digest the rich context of this epic-length film. EUREKA offers a rare opportunity to take in the fascinating quality of Japanese self-reflection.

Sabu wasn't too bad, but it's certainly not the best Miike movie I've seen. Hell, it hardly even feels like a Miike movie. Don't let that scare you off, though. It has some really good performances. Hey, it even stars Fujiwara Tatsuya who played Nanihara in Battle Royale. "NOBU!!!"

I'll probably see them all (hopefully). But For sure I have to see Eureka. I like refelective "journey" movies, and this seems like one of those.
